Honey care & FAQ

How should I store honey?

Keep honey tightly closed in a dry place at room temperature, away from direct heat. Do not refrigerate; refrigeration encourages crystallization.

Why does honey crystallize?

Crystallization is a natural change in honey's texture. Honey can form crystals over time, especially when refrigerated. You can enjoy it crystallized or gently soften it.

How do I soften crystallized honey?

Crystallization is natural. To soften crystallized honey, transfer it to a clean, heat-safe glass jar and place the jar in a bowl of warm, not boiling, water. Let it sit, stirring occasionally, until the crystals dissolve. Keep water out of the honey, and do not heat or microwave the plastic bottle.

Where does your honey come from?

We harvest raw honey from our own managed hives across Southeast Texas, then extract, strain, and hand-bottle it at our shop in Dayton, Texas.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout for your delivery address and cart. Review available services and charges before payment. Case prices cover merchandise; shipping is separate.

Can I buy cases or ask about bulk orders?

Our case specials contain twelve bottles, including a mixed case with six of each size. For business or bulk inquiries, contact us.

Can babies have honey?

Do not feed honey to infants under 1 year of age.
